I will look around where I am at in the moment. I travel a lot for work so whenever I see something new I will make a note of it in my head.

If you feel like you have a good story but you can't quite get it to flow and move forward I highly suggest "The Writer's Journey" by Christopher Vogler. I use this book as a guide to see if a script I am reading follows a good arc and flow.

I hope that will help a bit.

It's a great book, some say that certain Hollywood studios have become obsessed with it and try to shoe-horn every project to fit that structure. Definitely worth reading though.

I find that my main problem when about to write a screenplay is coming up with a good idea.

Also, when i have wrote about ten pages, I begin to doubt the story.Are you guys the same, and if so, whats the best way to overcome it.

I don't know whether you CAN overcome it (or whether you should) - questioning and doubting our work drives us to improve and better ourselves - 'from great suffering comes great art', as they say. One way to get an idea as to whether something is worth pursuing or not is to show it to others whose opinion you value & trust to see what they say.

That book is pure gold. Most of the time my block comes from the fact I don't know where the character is going. That book gives you structure and arc. But most importantly, finding the best arc for your story.

I'm pretty twisted, so ideas come naturally.

But what usually happens with me is this-Yeah, I like this idea (maybe I've seen a movie) what could I do with it?

For example, if you really liked Ghostbusters, but also liked...um...go to Eejit's Guide, and you'll see what I mean.

It isn't original, but it's easy, and will get you a lot of experiance.
